Tadge co-authored the design and development of the Lightning Network, changing how people think about Bitcoin scalability. He devised Discreet Log Contracts (DLCs), a smart contract protocol for Bitcoin, and Utreexo, an accumulator that improves Bitcoin's scalability and performance. He is currently researching post-quantum migration protocols to make Bitcoin safer and more resilient.
